Our credit union is privately, not federally, insured by American Share Insurance (ASI) since 1991. ASI is an Ohio-based share guaranty corporation that insures consumer savings on deposit with State Chartered Credit Unions like us. ASI insures up to $250,000.00 per account as opposed to insuring per member/social security with FDIC. This means ASI will insure your sub-accounts (i.e. savings, checking, money market, etc.) for up to $250,000.00 as well. ASI is the nation’s largest private deposit insurer for credit unions and has operated in a safe and sound manner since it’s incorporation in 1974.
